My First Halloween 2010

sleeping through the night :)

Last Friday 10/22/2010 was my first night in my big girl room and crib! It has been a change for me and for my mommy, but I think we have been sleeping better! I even slept through the night on wednesday from 8:30pm to 5:30am... I was proud of myself :)

This is how I usually wake up... that is if I wake up on my own and not by someone waking me up. If I get woken up and I don't want to be... WATCH OUT!  I can be a real fussybottoms!

A year... 10/28/2009 to 10/28/2010



10/28/2009~ A year ago today I was a Gummy Bear! At least that's what my mommy and daddy called me when they first saw me! On this day they first heard my heartbeating in my gummy bear body :)



10/28/2010~ Now look at ME today!!! I am almost five months old and no longer a gummy bear!

Mommy was 7 and 1/2 weeks pregnant when I was a gummy bear! Trina my ultrasound tech was sooo excited to see me to that she wanted to point out I WAS a baby! :)

I don't know how big I was when I was a gummy bear... I think Dr. Growney explained that I was like the size of a pencil eraser...but I'm getting so long now that I barely fit in my bouncer anymore.

Rock Star

I had to go see Dr. Simony today due to a eye infection. That means mommy thought I should get some cool glasses to protect my eye! She didn't get them... I got eye drops instead :(

Pumpkin Patch

I went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday! It was sunny out and there were just too many pumpkins to look at to look at the camera :)

Dress up

Check out all my neato outfits! I'm just wondering why big people want to make statements with my baby clothes... I just care if they are comfy or not! But I'm pretty sure I am the Current Family Favorite though :)

I had the funnest time ever going swimming with mommy this weekend at the Candlewood Suites in Denver!! We had to swim in the hot tub because mommy said it was too cold in the big pool. The hot tub water felt like my bath without all the soapy bubbles.

Green Beans Suck!

I am not so sure of this whole eating solid foods thing! This stuff that they are feeding me looks nothing like the stuff they eat... what gives??

Doctor... Doctor...

Monday October 11th was my four month check up with Dr. Simony. He is good to me and I really like his monkey stehocope!  As if we didn't already know... I'm a big girl... I weighed 15lbs 10oz, which is the 90th percentile. I'm also getting taller... in the 75th percentile... coming in at over two feet tall ( 24 3/4ins).  Dr. Simony says I'm "perfect"!



Dr. Simony says that all my excerising is doing me good and that I'm "perfect" developmentally! I think he likes the word "perfect" :)  He says He wants to see me sitting by myself when he sees me next at 6 months... I better keep excerising so he can call me "perfect" again! Dr. Simony also said that mom and dad can start to feed me veggies if I'm ready... ohhh boy am I ready!!!




Well the bad part of seeing Dr. Simony is he sticks those needle thingys in my legs and I don't like it very much! They say it's good for me to get my shots but I'm not so sure about that! After a long morning at the doctor I just want to nap and whine a little about my experience for the rest of the day. It is also one of the few days I like to cuddle :)



First Roadtrip!

 Last weekend I got to go on my very first Roadtrip. Daddy and Mommy took me to Denver for Friday night and Saturday. Daddy had a regional gathering for the Church...actually my church got an Award/Trophy for being such a good Church at serving the community around us... I say way to go FBC Fowler!!! I got to stay at the Ramada in Thornton and sleep in my pack-n-play for the first time. It was good to move around... so much so that I ended up turned around and at the other end! My parents should have got a picture of that :) Saturday morning we went to the Gathering and everyone held me and played with me... I love people and always greet them with a big ole' smile! After the gathering we stopped at Daddy's favorite bookstore, Cokesberry. Mommy took my picture next to the LOVE banner there... cuz they LOVE me that much! :) After leaving Denver we went to the ToyRus/BabiesRus in Colorado Springs. I needed lots of Fall/Winter clothes because it is starting to get cold out and since I was born in the summer I haven't needed to be all warm and cozy yet! Dad and Mom also got me some fun Halloween and Thanksgiving outfits... I'm sure they'll be taking pictures of me in those soon! Dad took my picture riding in the car with Garfield... Garfield let me drive!  All in all it was a good trip... I can't wait for next weekend when we go on another trip for a family weekend away!
