9 month/Spring/Easter Pics

Mommy and Daddy took me to get my 9 month photos taken today! It's getting to be pretty springy outside so I got to wear a pretty spring/Easter dress. The photographer kept saying that I was sooo cute and good that she could just take pictures of me ALLLL Day!!! :)

I can even bend over and pick up my toy and stand back up!

Then this is what happens when I fall... I cry :(  But then I'll get back up and try it all over again! :)

9 Monthaversary!!

I love the park!

This Wednesday I celebrated my 9 monthaversary! Only three more months till my big 1 Year Old bash... I already hear my mommy and daddy talking about all the fun we will have! I had my 9 month check up yesterday and let me tell you my doctor can talk... I just wish he would look me in the eye when he is examing me. :)  Mommy and daddy had a bet on how much I weighed. An over-under bet of 22 1/2 pounds, well.... I weighed 22 lbs and 9 ozs... that means mommy techniquely was the winner, but I heard her say that was close and should be a tie! I am also 28 inches tall. I'm still in my same percentiles of 90th for weight and 75th for height... Doc Simony says I'm "Perfect"... but he always says that! :) During my visit they talked about what to feed me now that I think I'm too big for baby food. I can now have some eggs and they are going to start giving me some REAL milk! We'll see if I like it or not :) I'm still working on my crawling...I"m almost there. I can sit myself back up from laying down and pull myself up sometimes to standing. I love playing with my toys and always entertaining people. This next month I'd like to complete this crawling process and get on to scooting and walking... sound like a good plan?? :)

My new ride!



I have myself a new ride! No more baby bucket seat for me people! I'm a big girl now :)



This is my new ride! It is the First Years True Fit C670... It says it should keep me safe and let me keep sitting rear facing till I'm 35 pounds... My mom says that will be soon because she thinks I'm sooo heavy! This seat will also fit me till I'm 65 pounds... then I'll really be a big girl!

Yes I'm trying to place a call on my cell, but this thing just doesn't have a good signal :( Those Fisher-Price phones you know!

I live for the weekends!

This is what I think of the "work week" when no one is around to play with me. This President's Day Weekend was a blast with my parents and Mimi around :)

Mimi took me on the slide and I watched other kids play.

Daddy loves to throw me in the air... and I LOVE it too!

There was also some quiet time for reading.

And of course I am a work out lover... got to exercise to get strong and get to where I want to go!

A year ago today (2/11/2010) my parents found out they were having a KARIS! :) If I was going to be that OTHER sex... ummm a boy... My name would have been Ezra. I'm sooo happy I'm a KARIS! :)

8 Monthaversary!!

Since I"m getting older and more mobile they won't let me hold my own sign anymore.



All my baby yoga practice is really paying off! I have mastered my Downward Dog position quite well as you can see! This last month I have been working hard on getting from my sitting position, to my belly, to a crawl. I think I will have it conquered before my 9 monthaversary.




This last month I have really started to use my hands and fingers sooo much more. I now grab on to everything in sight. I am also really good at picking up my snacks with my finger and thumb!



I am not so sure what they put in my bottle sometimes :) I have still been enjoying my yummy foods. My favorites are Green Beans, Real Bananas, Orange Medley and Chicken and Rice.

They say I am a really happy girl! I love to laugh... especially at my dog Jakers... he is sooo funny! When I'm ready to get going in the morning my mommy finds me in my crib chatting to myself about what I'm going to do for the day. My favorite words are "DaDa", "LaLa", "GaGa" and "BaBa". My mommy is alittle upset I can say every thing but "MaMa" :(

I really like people. I still smile at them all and try to get their attention to play with me :) I am starting to not like when my mommy and daddy leave the room and I don't know where they go... but then I see a toy I want and forget about them!

I have sooo  many toys, most of the time I don't know what to play with! Some of my favorites are... This puppy that sings to me, My Pal Scout that knows my name and my singing farm toy that I can make sing to me if i push the buttons right!

Well another month has gone by and I am fastly approaching my 1st Birthday... ummmm CAKE! But next month I hope to be crawling to where I want to go, pulling myself up on the furniture and not falling on my face and saying "MaMa" to make my mom happy! I will also be going to Dr. Simony for a check up... Can't wait to see how much I've grown!
