I'm from South Dakota now!!

Yes... we made our move to Hot Springs, South Dakota a few weeks ago. I'm loving our new house and have adjusted really well! I think the move has matured me as I've started to talk in small sentences, "there he em"... "your turn". I've also been pretty interested in the potty. I ask to go and pee in my Melmo potty... of course then I get some of my favorite candies, "M's"! :) Maybe I'll be potty trained by the time my lil sister comes to live with us.

18 month update

I turned 18 months on December 2nd! Ok Sooo I'm a little late in an update but I'm a busy girl :) I went for my check up on the 14th and weighed in at a whooping 29lbs 9oz (95th percentile) and I'm a towering force at 33inches tall (90th percentile)! I have a Church friend that will be turning 2 the first week of January and I'm taller than him!!! I've changed so much in the last 18months. I'm no longer an infant that isn't mobile, can't feed themselves and doesn't talk... I now run, try to jump, climb stairs with ease... I love to eat cheese and feed myself with a fork... and when it comes to striking up a conversation I'm all talk... I love to of course say my favorite word, NO! I think I can say over 100 words and I'm starting to put two words together. I'm really good at following directions... when I want too! :) I know all my body parts and can name them. I LOVE... let me repeat... LOVE to draw!!! Most of the time you will see me at home with my pencil and paper. I like helping around the house doing laundry and the dishes. I'm really into babies now too... probably a good thing if I'm going to have a baby sibling next year! People say I'm pretty funny too and love to laugh. I make silly faces and dance around to get others to laugh. My favorite songs to sing right now are the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes and the ABC's. I LOVE Elmo or Melmo as I call him! I can count sometimes... right now I say "one, two, one, nine."  I'm really interested in this thing called "potty". I can tell you when I've gone pee.. but I'm still not sure if I want to do something about it or not. We are getting ready to move to South Dakota soon... and I'm loving playing in all the boxes and unpacking what daddy and mommy have already packed! So as you can read... I'm growing UP! :) Who knows what I'll be doing in the next six months!

I LOVE to play the piano! If it is left unattended I head straight for it!!

I LOVE HATS!!! I ask to put my hat on every morning! Ms. Annette got me this hat yesterday... I left it on ALL day and wanted it back on as soon as I got up!

Christmas 2011

So I've heard my adoring fans have been asking what I might want for Christmas :) So since it is after Halloween I can focus my attention on the next holiday!

I had a GREAT time Trick or Treating!!! Being dressed as a Pirate of course I had to say AARRRGGG to get me candy matey!! But i also didn't forget to say Thank you after recieving my loot. I even said Trick or Treat a few times to avoid having to walk thee plank.

I thought it would be a great idea to get into the oranges while Mommy was cooking dinner. After spending some time lining them up on the floor, putting them in the crock pot and back out again... I decided to get the cupcake pan out of the cabinet... perfect right?? So I put all my oranges in line, counting as I do... 1 2 sheee or 3! :)
