I LOVE Santa

You are never going to guess who I ran into the other day at the Mall... SANTA!!! Well I'm not sure we really ran into him because I'm starting to think that it was a set up because they already had me dressed in this crazy outfit to promote how much i love santa :) I don't think Santa understood quite what I wanted for Christmas... my two bottom teeth!

Jumparoo

In the mornings, daddy moves me from activity to activity. This is my jumparoo, which is an exercise chair where I can jump and play. I loved getting in the jumparoo after daddy made me have "belly time". I think I am supposed to do something with my arms and legs when I am on my belly, so I get on all fours and try to move my hands and knees, but nothing is working quite yet.

FEED ME!!

YUMMM!!! I am so excited for some food! I always wonder what yummy food is next...I love most things... just not meat product baby food, squash and peas!!



I especially LOVE my rice Mum-Mum's! The are sure yummy to my tummy! Of course I get more of it all over me and my chair than in my mouth :)



Let the addiction begin...

My mom and dad want you to know that not every picture tells a true story... I just think that it is fun to play grown up! Oh and it felt good on my sore gums :)

The Great Lakes State

This is me with my Great Grandma Paulsen. She was so happy to see me. She held and cuddled me and thought I was the best baby around!

I had sooo many people to feed me when I was in Michigan... it was like I had 100 servants for my every whim :) Here I am being tended to by my Grandpa Rich and Grandma Norma.

While I was in Michigan I began to perfect my new skill of sitting! Maybe it was the lower elevation and more oxygen that helped :)

This is me with my mommy and my Grammie! When I was in Michigan I also went to get my picture taken with the four generations of the girls in my family.

My Grammie was soooo happy to get to spend time with me! We talked and cuddled during my visit... she also bought me some cool ugg like boots!

I enjoyed my first Thanksgiving. I've heard adults say that after a good thanksgiving meal they were stuffed! I can feel that way some times when I've had too much milkies!

My daddy is sooo silly! Here we are waiting in the airport to go back to Colorado. I'm scolding him for being sooo silly!

 I think I'm into this flying thing! Here I am all buckled in... I got my own seat cuz I'm a big girl :) We flew Frontier Airlines, I'm glad we did cuz there was TV to watch during the flight!

My half year birthday

 I had my big six monthaversary on Thursday December 2nd! Can  you believe that I am only six months away from being a year old??? I can... actually I wish I was older, I am soooo ready to get move'in!! There are sooo many things that I want to do... If only I knew how :) Last month was a good month for me. I worked hard to sleep without my swaddler all the time... I'm still working on that. I continue to LOVE drinking my milkies... but I've also been enjoying some yummy foods like... green beans, sweet potatoes, carrots, bananas and apples! I'm really starting to be a Scwormy Wormy as they say. Eveyone has been wanting me to roll over. Well I can... I just choose not too! That's right I would much rather move on to the next step in my development and sit up like a big girl... rolling over is sooo four month old behavior! ;P  I'm doing really good with sitting up and now I'm trying to scoot on my butt to get to where I want to go. I had my six month doctor appointment with Dr. Simony. I weigh 18 pounds on the dot and 26 inches long... I'm still in all my same percentiles much means I'm growing at a steady rate!! This month I also had my very first trip out of Colorado! I went to go visit my family in Michigan... It was a good time and I got soooo much attention that it was sad for me once I got home. Hopefully I will get to return some day to the land of water, trees and green. (so very different looking than my state)  Well now that I'm six months old my goals for the next month are... to have a great Christmas with my Daddys family (oh and get lots of presents), get to eat things like crackers and other yummy mixed foods, work on my next step of trying to get to things I want (like scooting or crawling)... wish me luck! :)

It's beginning to look a lot like...

BTW... My mom wanted me to tell you all that that is not a REAL candy cane... but I sure look like I'm enjoying it!

Here is the start to my Christmas wish list!!! I don't really need everything on there... but just thought you all might get some ideas from it! Other items that would be good for me include; zipper sleepers (mommy and daddy hate the ones with snaps, they say I kick to much!), books, clothes of any kind around the 9 to 12 month size (I have chubby legs!), sheets for my crib and of course gift cards are always appreicated! :)

It's getting COLD!!

It's been getting colder here! I still haven't seen my first snow fall and its almost the middle of November! But I do know that it is getting colder because my mom keeps dressing me in warm/cozy outfits!

Urggghh! Mom... will you stop taking my picture for my darn blog! I'm trying to watch my show... Jack's Big Music Show that is!!! :)

Happy Five Monthday!

 I turned FIVE MONTHS OLD!!! Can you believe it?? It seems just like yesterday that I was a young four month old :)  My last month was an exciting one. I had two overnight trips to Denver and got to stay in my first hotel. I got to eat yummy foods for the first time last month... green beans are my favorite, but I have also tried peas and squash. I am getting really good at sitting up on my own, but I still need a little help to not tumble over :)  I am grabbing everything in sight now and just can't wait to get my hands on things that I shouldn't! I'm still working on rolling over... I like to get half way over and then I just don't know what to do with my arm! This month I also started to sleep in my own big girl bed in my room. I like it a lot and I'm sleeping better... I've even slept a couple of times from 8:30 pm to like 6am... That's really good isn't it??? Well for my fifth month my goals are to... travel safe to see all my family in Michigan, get stuffed on new foods at Thanksgiving time, learn what to do with my arm so that I can roll over, learn to sit up and not tumble to my side and continue to be the best baby EVER!! :)
